What Dragon Tiger is

Dragon Tiger strips card gaming down to its shortest possible form. There are no additional cards, no drawing rules and no decisions after the deal. Two cards, one comparison, round over.

That speed is its appeal and its main risk. A round takes seconds, which means a session can cover a very large number of bets in a short time. Set a limit before you start.

Ace is the lowest card and King is the highest. The full order is:

A < 2 < 3 < 4 < 5 < 6 < 7 < 8 < 9 < 10 < J < Q < K

Suits do not affect the result. A King of clubs and a King of hearts are the same value, which is precisely the situation that produces a Tie.

How to play

1. Choose your chip value.
2. Place a bet on Dragon, Tiger or Tie.
3. Tap DEAL. Betting closes.
4. One card is dealt to each side.
5. The higher-ranking card wins. Payouts settle immediately.

How ties are handled

A Tie is a genuine possibility on every round, and it is the reason the Dragon and Tiger bets are not a straight coin flip. Tie handling for Dragon and Tiger bets follows the rule displayed on the game table — on many Dragon Tiger tables a tie returns part of a Dragon or Tiger stake rather than the whole of it.

The Tie bet, honestly

The Tie pays at a much higher rate because it happens far less often. That higher payout does not make it better value — on most Dragon Tiger implementations the Tie carries a noticeably larger house edge than Dragon or Tiger. It is the most expensive bet on the table over time, however good it looks when it lands.

Dragon and Tiger bets carry an indicative RTP of around 96.5% with low volatility. The Tie bet sits lower. Always check the current rules and payouts shown on the game table before placing your bet, since these values determine the real return on each option.
